Oradell Council Considers Grants To Improve Infrastructure

ORADELL, N.J. -- Oradell council members discussed grants to improve the infrastructure of the borough at a work session Feb. 9, reported The Record.

Capital Alternatives representatives were present and told borough officials about grant opportunities at the meeting, said The Record.

President of Capital Alternatives Marlene Casey reportedly said the Department of Transportation will advance its federal program called Fixing America's Surface Transportation in the coming weeks, according to The Record.

Oradell may apply for two areas of the program, the Safe Routes to Schools grant and Transportation Alternative Program grant, The Record said.
