The detective arrived for the 5 o’clock appointment and “was then propositioned to have sex and sexually related acts for compensation,” Detective Geoffrey Cole told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

Stephanie J. Galivanes, 25, of Bogota and 20-year-old Astrid E. Alvarez, 20, of the Bronx, were charged with engaging in prostitution.

Galivanes, who police said took out the ad, was also charged with promoting prostitution.

Galivanes was released on $5,000 bail and Alvarez on her own recognizance, both pending a Sept. 27 first hearing in Little Ferry Municipal Court.
