Preschoolers Drop In At Northrop House At Sherman Historical Society

SHERMAN, Conn. -- The preschoolers from the Robbyn's Nest Educational Center in Sherman stopped by for a visit to the Sherman Historical Society last week, where they learned all about the Northrop House while looking for "Thomas the Mouse" in each room.

After the tour, they all made a mouse house. 

Board members Ginny Zellner, Eileen O'Connell and Joni Taylor created the event.

The Northrop House was named for the Northrop family, prominent Sherman residents for several generations who lived there for many years and owned the property for a generation after.
