Stratford Roommates Charged With Promoting Prostitution On Backpage.com

STRATFORD, Conn. — Two female roommates were charged with selling heroin and cocaine as well as promoting prostitution via Backpage.com after Stratford police raided their home, according to NBC Connecticut.

Stratford police officers worked with the Bridgeport Police Department on Nov. 28 to execute a search warrant at a home on 295 First Ave., NBC Connecticut said. 

The women arrested and the charges, according to NBC Connecticut, are:

  • Ariel Perry, 46, charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and prostitution and held on $500,000 bond.
  • Kathleen Cox, 31, charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, promoting prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution and held on $100,000 bond.
