Pedestrian Struck, Killed On I-95

A stretch of Interstate 95 has reopened in Fairfield County after a pedestrian was struck by a car and killed, closing the highway for several hours.

According to Connecticut State Police, the incident happened around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 in Stratford in the southbound lanes between exits 32 and 31, state police said.

State police are working to investigate the incident and said additional information will be released later on Wednesday.
