The data came from the recently released Real Trends 500 report, which ranked the top residential real estate firms in the U.S. by both closed sales volume and closed transactions.

The ranking not only positions the company as the top Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate nationally, but internationally as well since the brand’s top national affiliate outperforms the highest producing global companies that are part of the network. The company has achieved the distinction of top producing affiliate five years in a row.

"Being part of the Sotheby's International Realty network of global offices allows us to market our properties and service our buying clients better than our competitors, because our brand holds us to higher standards than any other real estate brand,'' said Brad Kimmelman, Brokerage Manager and a Realtor with William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty, Southport and Fairfield Brokerages.  "I am proud that we are the number one affiliate in the Sotheby's network and that our clients reap the benefits of the marketing and highest level of service any company can provide."

According to the annual report, the firm achieved nearly $3.5 billion in closed volume in 2014. Several other firms in the brand’s network also appeared on the list, but William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty, which services buyers and sellers in Connecticut, Westchester County, N.Y. and the Berkshires, Mass., was the top ranking firm.

“It is exciting to see us maintain our position from 2014 as the number one global Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate by closed sales volume,” said Paul Breunich, President and Chief Executive Officer of William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. “We could not have made this accomplishment without the hard work and incredible dedication to service demonstrated by our extraordinary team of sales professionals. I thank them all for their efforts and look forward to another year of success in 2015.”

Worldwide, the Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 16,500 sales associates located in approximately 760 offices in 60 countries and territories.

In addition to exclusive Sotheby’s International Realty marketing, advertising and referral services, William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty clients benefit from an association with Sotheby’s auction house, which promotes real estate referral opportunities with auction house clientele.

As a Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate, the firm also has the unique ability to refer its real estate clientele to the auction house for jewelry, art, unique furniture and collectible appraisal services.
