The workshops promote academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn while reducing stress. Class size is limited to 15 students.

The workshops run Aug. 20 to 22. Two time frames are available, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Taught by accredited teachers, students will learn 10 essential, logical and easy-to-implement skills that are essential for successful learning and studying: goal setting, time management, note-taking methods, asking questions, active reading, understanding main ideas and important details, using visuals, summarizing to learn, notebook organization and quiz, test, and long-term project preparation strategies.

S4 program provides take-home materials that complement and outline the workshop sessions, and are designed for ongoing student support. Each three-workshop session costs $395.
