Redding Teen Is Dancing Her Way To A Ballet Career

REDDING, Conn. -- The Redding Pilot recently profiled Redding teen Sophia Stefanopoulos who studies ballet in New York City instead of attending Joel Barlow High School.

In the mornings, she goes to classes at the Professional Children’s School, which prepares sixth- through 12th-graders for professional lives as well as offering regular middle and high school classes, according to its website.

In the afternoons, she dances with the Manhattan Youth Ballet.

Stefanopoulos attended the Georgetown Conservatory when she was younger as well as the Performing Arts Center of Connecticut, the article said.
