Westhill Teacher Faced 'Unsubstantiated' Allegations, Stamford Says

Updated: STAMFORD, Conn. -- Allegations that were reported against a Westhill High School faculty member are "unsubstantiated," a spokesman for Stamford Public Schools said Tuesday.

"The allegations were found to be completely unsubstantiated," school district spokesman Sharon Beadle said. She said the school is working to get the staff member, who had been placed on leave, back on the job as soon as possible.

Stamford Police have investigated and found no basis for the allegations, she said.

News12 Connecticut reported earlier Tuesday that a faculty member at Westhill had been placed on leave for what school officials characterized as "allegations."

No details on the allegations or the identify of the staff member were released, News 12 said.
