Dumas, a junior at SUNY Cortland, has already been named twice as the Player of the Week in the State University of New York Athletic Conference. Dumas transferred to Cortland from Hartwick, where she was the Rookie of the Year as a freshman in the Empire 8 Conference and a first-team all-conference selection last year.

Dumas’ most recent weekly honor came in the week ending Dec. 7. She averaged 18.3 points and 11.3 rebounds in three games. She scored 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 68-49 win over Fredonia during that stretch.

She had 13 points and 11 rebounds in Cortland’s most recent win, a 69-57 win over SUNY Polytechnic. Dumas is averaging 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game through the first eight games for Cortland (7-1).
