New Swim Series Coming To Stamford In May

STAMFORD, Conn. – A new swim series is coming to Stamford to benefit Kids In Crisis of Cos Cob.

The Stamford Swim Series begins Thursday, May 29, at 6 p.m. There will be seven more swims in the series, which will be held at Cummings Beach. Swimmers will have options to swim 1.4 kilometers (0.9 miles) or 0.8 kilometers (a half-mile). Swimmers can race against other individuals or the clock.

The event is organized by the City of Stamford Parks and Recreation Department and JumpontheWAGEN Productions. Jon Stellwagen, race director for the Stamford KIC It Triathlon, is also director of JumpontheWagen, an event management company. Stellwagen is also a triathlon coach for Elite Health Services of Greenwich.
