The event is open to the public and will include free open play for children and parents, balloons, popcorn, Sno-cones and giveaways.
Attendees who sign up that day for one of the summer gymnastics camps offered by the Westport Weston Family Y will receive a 25 percent discount.
The Y’s new Gymnastics Center in Norwalk opened on June 11 and offers classes and activities led by Westport Weston Family Y staff for all ages and abilities, from toddlers through high school, including competitive teams for gymnasts Level 3-8, in addition to the internationally ranked Showtime Exhibition Team.
Summer Session classes and camps begin the week of June 23.
Located at 145 Main St. between Holmes Street and Union Avenue, the temporary new home for the Y’s award-winning Gymnastics Program features a tumble track, spring floor and all the equipment needed to train young gymnasts, from beginner to elite-level, all within a specially designed 6,500-square-foot space.
