I am so sorry to see something like this happen, my heart feels for his family and all those affected by this tragedy. The stress in life is overpowering at times. Treat other people with care, life is too short to go through with the mission of insulting and attempting to hurt those that don't see things your way. It is not worth risking your life in order to get to a lot of places on Connecticut Avenue. Broad River, sitting on a "handicap scooter" while trying to get to Dunkin Donuts from the west is unnerving, trust me. With the property tax I pay each year on my condo and all the tax revenue that Norwalk gets from the businesses on Connecticut Avenue, it just needs to addressed. PROBLEM View Comment

The city is not "expanding" in this instance; as Ken P. says. It is keeping up with the needs of the community and is very aware of the importance of providing emergency services for our safety. When the boat saves one individual from death, the word "wasteful" is meaningless. View Comment

I have been a substitute for Norwalk Public Schools since 2006. Of all the schools, Columbus Elementary School is one of the top two on my preferred list. If you have a child in Norwalk, I would strongly recommend this school for his/her elementary education. View Comment
