He had an assault rife - illegal in CT and his mother bought it Legally???? How did that happen. Do we have to go search every house to see if people have illegal weapons. I'm for very strict gun control. Everyone who tries to buy a gun should have a psychiatric examination - mandates. And, tey should have to fill out verifyable information that they will hopefully be sufficiently uncomfortable with (lying gets them in jail) that they won't get the gun. Of course we'll have to be truly vigilant to cut down the black market that will rise up. But if guns are illegal (save for military and law enforcement) they'll run a risk that maybe too hard to shake off. View Comment

Love it! Drove by yesterday. I remember that meadow when it was a pasture for bulls! And across the way, you could get fresh/raw milk (yes, there were cows too), eggs and sometimes veggies by just driving up the driveway to a little hut where you could just take what you wanted form the fridge in there and it was an honor system to leave money. Days gone by. I love that field - its wild flowers in the spring and summer. I'd use more vivid colors on the spheres as they look a little washed out. Still, they punctuate thel and in an interesting way. Seems to say hello to the passers by who might ordinarily notice the beauty of the field. View Comment
