"All the panelists agreed that there seemed to be something wrong with how conservative news outlets reported the results. "
I find this an amazing statement-- View Comment

Why are we worried about cell phones when the Government is mandating that everyone use light bulbs that contain Mercury which is known to be toxic and if you break a bulb in the house you will need a Hazmat team to clean it up.

It is spending-spending-spending. -- That is the problem. More taxes will just end up with more spending- It is just that simple and don't let anyone tell you different. If the Govt gets more they WILL SPEND MORE.. Maybe not right away ,but for sure in the future and that's how we arrived where we are. View Comment
I did not hear anyone "SLAM" the budget. There is currently no budget to consider. Please report and leave the sensational headlines to the newspapers sold at the checkout line of the supermarket.

3. A personal income tax increase of nearly 30 percent.
4. Raised fees by $110 million.
5. Borrowed $1.3 billion to cover operating expenses.
6. Cut municipal aid by $50 million.
7. Increased spending by $300 million despite a huge deficit.

If seniors have any hope of staying in Connecticut, they must come out
on Election Day and vote for Gail Lavielle for State Representative in
the 143rd district.
According to the Democratic Super majority in Hartford, the solution to
the state of Connecticut’s ever increasing budget deficit is “to
increase revenues”. In simple terms this means more taxes, fees and
other sources of revenue.
With no cost of living increase in Social Security for the past two
years, seniors on fixed incomes will see a further erosion of their
ability to stay in their homes.
Gail Lavielle wants to cut State spending -not increase Hartford’s tax
burden which falls so unevenly on the elderly.
Gail has the background in finance and organization to shrink the over
bloated State monster.
Seniors must cast their ballots for Gail Lavielle on November 2 to turn
the tide of big government.
