Cracker Barrel CEO Resigns After Rebranding Controversy Cracker Barrel's CEO is resigning nearly a year after rabid criticism from conservatives over the restaurant chain's efforts to modernize. Julie Masino will step down as chief executive, the Tennessee-based company announced in a news release on Monday, July 27.
