Larchmont Police Catch Three Fleeing Chase Bank

Larchmont Police arrested three Brooklyn residents that fled the Chase Bank on Chatsworth Avenue June 30 after one of them tried to cash a fraudulent check. When employees at the Chase Bank branch denied Shannon Williamson, 21, she fled the bank and entered a vehicle.

The vehicle was located by responding officers. Williamson, Terell Sitney, 21, and Jeremy Salmon, 25, were charged with attempted grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and possession of marijuana. They were arraigned and transported to Westchester  County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Burglary: A Larchmont Ave resident reported returning home on June 27 to find their front door open and property missing from two bedrooms.

Larceny Attempt: Employees at the Chase Bank branch on Chatsworth Avenue reported June 29 that a female attempted to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,900.

Larceny: A Larchmont Police officer on June 30 discovered that the street sign at Prospect Avenue and Linden Avenue had been removed.

The Larchmont Police Department also responded to 10 burglar alarms, two motor vehicle accidents, seven aided cases, and 47 other calls for service.
