We played good defense and that leads to better offense, Eagles sophomore Christine Whitty said following the game. We have to improve our chemistry to get better. We dont have one or two star players, so well have to contribute.
The Eagles, who were led by Midori Kaharis 13 points, evened their record at 4-4 while Hastings fell to 3-5 so far this season.
Lea Distelhurst had a game-high 15 points for the Yellow Jackets (3-4), Alex LeFevre added 10 points and Kelsey Barry scored six.
