Justin Alsons 3-pointer with 2:56 remaining gave Pace the lead for good as Setters rallied to a 67-61 victory over host St. Michaels College in a Northeast-10 mens college basketball game, Tuesday.
Alston finished with 21 points as the Setters overcame a 13-point deficit with 14 minutes remaining in the game. Alstons 3-pointer thrust Pace to a 61-58. Alson then added two free throws.
The Setters had a 10-2 and 11-1 run in the second half. Kevin Clark contributed 11 points and Jonathan Merceus added 10 points and 12 rebounds Pace improved to 7-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
