9/11 Traveling Exhibit Makes Its Way To Brewster Central School District

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation's traveling exhibit, which serves a tribute to all those killed on Sept. 11, 2001, will be in the Brewster Central School District from Monday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 18.

The 9/11 Never Forget traveling exhibit is a tool to educate America's youth about the historic events of that day. The memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts, news and video recording and live tours from FDNY heroes.

A schedule of events by day is below. 

Monday, Sept. 15: 

Noon: 9/11 Exhibit arrives at Brewster High School via Police and Fire Department escort.  

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Welcome Ceremony. Exhibit open for first responders only.

Tuesday, Sept. 16: 

8 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Exhibit open for BHS Grade 9-12 students  

11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Exhibit open for Wells Middle School Grade 8 students  

3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibit open for middle school Grades 6 and 7 students, C.V. Starr/JFK students with parents, district employees and the community.

Wednesday, Sept. 17:

10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Exhibit open for BHS Grade 9-12 students  

1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Exhibit open for WMS Grade 8 students

2 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Exhibit open for WMS Grade 6 and 7 students, C.V. Starr/JFK students with parents, district employees and the community  

7 p.m.: Concert by Daniel Rodriguez

Thursday, Sept. 18: 

8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Exhibit open for WMS Grade 6 & 7 students; C.V. Starr/JFK students with parents; District Employees; and the Community  

10 a.m. to  2 p.m. Exhibit open for BHS Grade 9-12 students  

2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Exhibit open for WMS Grade 6 & 7 students; C.V. Starr/JFK students with parents, district employees and the community.
