Ridgefield Playhouse Reschedules Showing Of 'Falstaff'

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse's presentation of Verdi's "Falstaff" has been rescheduled to 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.

The opera was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. The Ridgefield Playhouse said the group had transmission issues due to inclement weather. Purchased tickets for the original performance will automatically be valid for the rescheduled performance.

Verdi’s "Falstaff" will star Ambrogio Maestri with Music Director James Levine. The Met Live in HD Series is underwritten by supporters Jeanne Cook, Anita and Nicholas Donofrio, Liz and Steven Goldstone, Marilyn and Joe Kreitz, Joanne and John Patrick, Starbucks Coffee, Sabina and Walter Slavin, Taylor Zemo Foundation, The Ridgefield Press and Whistle Stop Bakery.
