Occupy Weston meets: 2 p.m. The recently launched Occupy Weston group will hold its second meeting with a discussion of the book “The Price of Inequality." Refreshments will be served. Weston Public Library, 56 Norfield Road, Weston.

Mark Twain Library Annual Art Show: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library’s 40th annual art show opens for the viewing and purchasing of paintings and sculpture with 125 works on exhibit. The nine-day show takes place during regular library hours. Proceeds from sales support the library. 439 Redding Road, Redding.

Easton Tree Lighting: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Celebrate the holiday season with the Easton tree lighting event. Easton Library green, 691 Morehouse Road, Easton.
