Russ and I became friends through the Holy Cross crew team. He was always kind, funny, helpful and a really nice guy to talk to. We would always make a point of visiting with each other during our reunions.

This is such a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time of loss. Russ was always out there helping other people - that's how he'll be remembered.

I am so sad to hear this news.
