Weston EMS Needs Your Help

There are about 3,500 families in Weston. Yet we received donations from only 725 families this year. We are grateful for the support of that group of families, but we are troubled by the lack of support from most of the families of Weston. When you need us we are there for you, and now we need you to be there for us.

You probably know that Weston EMS is an all-volunteer organization. No one gets paid for the work we do. What you may not know is that Weston EMS receives no funds from the town of Weston. We pay for our own ambulances, the paramedic vehicles, equipment and supplies. And we need to do all of that with donations from the people of Weston. That's why it's so important to ask those of you who have not donated yet to do so. We ask you to consider the following scenario.

You have an elderly relative visiting and she falls in your house. She is in pain and needs to go to the hospital. You call 911 and Weston EMS is there within minutes. We make your relative comfortable and we take her to the hospital. We were there for you and the job got done ... and the amazing part is ... it was FREE.

Weston EMS is one of the few towns in the area that does not charge for service. Many surrounding towns charge as much as $700 for an ambulance call. We have been proud to offer our service for free, but we can only do that if you, the people of Weston, support us.

We always have training, supplies and uniforms to pay for. But this year we also have two new state-of-the-art ambulances to pay for as well. We appreciate your support even if it is a small donation. We would be happy with better participation from the 3,500 families.

When you call 911, we are there for you. Now Weston EMS is calling 911. Will you answer?
