Shaban Meets With Police Chiefs From Easton, Redding, Weston

WESTON, Conn. – State Rep. John Shaban (R-135th District) met recently with Police Chiefs James Candee of Easton, John Troxell of Weston and Doug Fuchs of Redding to discuss upcoming legislation affecting law enforcement including drones, Taser use, racial profiling, risk warrants, restraining orders, and pharmaceutical collection.

“I'm glad that I was able to meet again with the chiefs from my three towns,” said Shaban. "Their departments provide crucial community resources every day, and especially during emergencies. Each session I seek their input on important issues that impact the welfare of our constituents.”

Shaban, a Republican who represents Easton, Redding and Weston, met with the chiefs in February.
