Easton Republicans Endorse Dunsby In Bid For Re-Election

EASTON, Conn. -- The Republican Town Committee of Easton endorsed its slate of 2015 candidates at a caucus Tuesday in the Easton Public Library community room the Easton Courier reports.

The town committee supported re-election of several town officials, including First Selectman Adam Dunsby, and endorsed Carolyn Colangelo to replace Scott Centrella on the Board of Selectmen, according to the Easton Courier.

The Easton Courier reports these are the endorsed candidates:

  • Christine Halloran, town clerk
  • Mathew Gachi, Board of Finance
  • Wendy Bowditch, town treasurer
  • Christine Calvert, tax collector
  • Jenny Cheida, Easton Board of Education
  • Paul Coppinger, Region 9 Board of Education
  • J. Vance Hancock, Region 9 Board of Education
  • Victor George, Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Raymond Ganim, Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Gina Orticelli, library board
  • John Johnston, Joseph Silhavy, William Lane and Vincent Battaglia, for constables
