Rye Arts Center Extends Summer Classes

RYE, N.Y. – Rye Arts Center extended its arts classes through the summer due to popular demand.      

The center’s ceramics, digital arts and afternoon arts programming will continue into the month of August. Week-long classes include: Morning Creative Arts Program for ages 4 to 12 during Aug. 6 to 10, Morning Ceramics for ages 8 and up/Afternoon Ceramics for ages 5 to 7, iMovie Week for ages 9 and up, and Manga Cartooning & Drawing/Painting in the afternoon for ages 8 and up. 

Aspiring thespians also have the chance to join the center’s musical theater workshop weeks. This year features an adaptation of Disney’s “Aladdin,” directed by Michael Awusie.
