Easton, Redding Schools Change Plans, Close Wednesday Due To Icy Roads

EASTON/REDDING, Conn. -- Students in Easton and Redding have a day off after all on Wednesday, March 4.

The district first planned to open schools on a two-hour delay, but ended up closing for the day because of icy road conditions in the towns.

Here is the message on the website for the Region 9 Public Schools:

"The decision to delay the opening of school today has changed to a school closing due to icy road conditions. School offices will open as soon as it is safe to do so."
