Westport Swimmer Helps Williams Women Win Conference Title

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan's Ariana Ross won the Diver of the Meet award and helped the Williams College women's swimming and diving team dominate the competition in winning the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship.

Ross won the 1- and 3-meter crowns for Williams, which totaled 930.9 points. Williams is in Williamstown, Mass.

Weston's Olivia Clark, Darien's Catherine Treesh and Olivia Jackson, Westport's Sarah Cooperman and Greenwich's Tess Vorselen are also on the Williams roster. The Ephs have won 14 of the last 15 conference championships.

Clark also earned All-Conference honors with the 200 medley relay team. Jackson earned all-conference honors in four events, and Treesh was All-Conference in the 200 free relay.

Ross, a sophomore, competed for the Whirlwind Diving team that competes out of the New Canaan YMCA.
